Computer repair technicians are skilled professionals who are familiar with the use of physical hardware and software diagnostic tools. They are able to follow a well-rehearsed troubleshooting protocol in order to discover the source of a problem, and make the appropriate repairs.
A quick search of Dice.com, a job search information source for those in IT careers, recently produced more than 20,000 nationwide job opportunities for those specializing in computer repair. Results for both part- and full- time positions came up, so it’s likely that those who wish to become computer repair technicians will find a lot of flexibility in the field.
